Christmas party fish and chips, fried fresh on the day

A Christmas party doesn’t have to mean another turkey dinner. A fish and chip van in the car park or outside the venue gives everyone a hot, generous meal that suits a cold evening, and it works for teams who can’t all leave the building at once.

We plan winter events around the dark and the weather: a well-lit spot for the van and the queue, a short walk from the door, and service timed so people aren’t standing outside for long. December dates book up early, so ask as soon as you know yours.

How it works

  1. You tell us the date, the venue or site, rough numbers and when you’d like to eat.
  2. We check the spot for the van and send a quote.
  3. We agree arrival, lighting and the serving spot with you or the venue.
  4. On the day we set up and fry fresh at the agreed time.
  5. We pack up when service ends and leave the pitch tidy.

Dark evenings

In December it’s dark by about 4pm across the South East, so the van and the queue need good lighting. Tell us where the van will park and whether the area is lit.

Booking early

Christmas party season is short and popular. Fridays in early and mid December go first, so ask about your date as soon as you can.

Christmas party fish and chips: questions

Can you come to our office Christmas party?

Yes, if there’s a suitable spot for the van, such as a car park or yard, and the site allows it.

What if it’s raining or freezing?

We cook inside the van, so the weather doesn’t stop us. Plan a short, lit route from the door to the hatch, and cover if you can.

Do you cater Christmas fairs?

Yes. Send us the event details and the pitch information.

When should we book for December?

As early as possible. December weekends and Fridays are the first to go.

Where do you take the van?

Across London and the South East: Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and the Isle of Wight. Find your area.

How do I get a quote?

Send us your date, venue or postcode, rough numbers and when you’d like to eat through our quote form, and we’ll reply with a price.
